Commerce St.

Friday night my wife and I went on a stroll in downtown West Point (where we live) to catch some sunset photos, since I haven't gotten any sunset photos around town in a while and I wanted to get some shots I hadn't gotten before. The sunset did not dissapoint... at. all. The sky was great and the sun which was setting over the buildings on the left was casting a beautiful glow on the buildings to the right. I sat my camera really low on the tripod and got this shot. I think the lights of the lamps, which cut on just before I took the shot really added to the whole photo. And no cars being in the shot made it even better.

Here is a single shot photo (I usually do 3 shots per image) of the West Point windmill at sunrise with some beautiful purple clouds on the left side of the photo.
