Here is another shot of downtown Meridian pretty close to sunset. As you may be able to tell the sun is pretty low in the sky behind the closest building on the right so there was some nice light shining on the side of the building. I really like the smoothness of this photo. Sometimes you have to be careful with HDR as many photos can become way too harsh. When I was first experimenting with HDR I went crazy with it and would turn the Lighting slider all the way up or use the Surreal option to it's fullest capacity. As I learned better, more subtle ways, I would look back at those photos and cringe, which led to me re-editing most of those photos (Good decision). For the most part now I go for a smoother look, but still keeping a subtle surreality in them. I feel like I am finding my own style within a style. However, a little harshness works in some photos.
