I've been doing a lot of photo walking around campus here at Mississippi State lately, which is why you've seen several MSU related photos lately. It's such a nice campus and I'm here 8 hours a day with a camera in my hand, so I figured I mine as well take adavantage of the photo opportunities to showcase on the site.
I actually took this photo today on what is an absolutely beautiful one. As I got out and walked around I realized that I didn't have my wide angle lens with me, ony my 50mm portrait lens. I shoot 95% of my HDR photos with my wide angle lens, but every now and then I will shoot with the 50mm, but it is not ideal for landscapes. I shot this at the Hunter Henry Center on campus, which is the Alumni building and it is very different than any other building on campus with a very modern look. I like how this more cropped image at 50mm turned out, with lots of interesting lines. I think I can still get a really good wide shot with my other lens soon but I do like the forced cropping here and the way the windows really seem to shine.
