Ladybug Trail

Ladybug Trail

Happy Easter! I hope you and your family are having a great Easter Sunday as you celebrate the risen Savior. Hope you enjoy today's photo.

While I was shooting photos at the Noxubee Refuge one afternoon I soon started to see a few ladybugs, and as I continued to walk around I started seeing even more of them. Before I knew it I was swiping ladybugs off of my clothes and being attacked by the ladybug army. Ok, attacked probably isn't the right word, but it is more dramatic. So, no that is not dust from the lense you see in this photo, but thousands of ladybugs. They were literally everywhere, yes, even in my car when I left. I really didn't intend to take a photo of them, but I liked that they were in the photo when I started looking through them, so I just went with it.

Oh, and today is also my birthday.

The shot above was found near Macon, MS right past Noxubee Co. High School on a gravel road that runs right next to the school. I think this is the best type of sky to shoot.
