I went riding around early Saturday morning looking for something interesting to photograph. It's that time of the year when the leaves are falling and turning into the beautiful fall colors we all love. I went down this backroad in Monroe County and I really liked the colors of the trees against the sky along with the bright orange leaves that had fallen to the side of the road.
When editing this photo I reminsced about my early days of photoshop and discovering all of the filters that it had and how I used them to extreme on every photo I edited (Mind you this was about 15-16 years ago). So I challenged myself to go back to those filters and use them in a way that was subtle but actually added to the quality of the photo. I ended up using the sponge filter and really tweaked it to get it to be subtle but still have a noticeable effect. It really made the colors popout and I like how it does kind of look like a painting. What do you think? Give me some feedback.
