Pond Waterfall

Pond Waterfall

This little pond is located in front of the Hunter Henry Center on the Mississippi State campus. I never noticed before until the day I took this photo. It looks much more peaceful with the building cropped out of it, and the hanging leaves of the willow(?) tree added a nice touch, along with the splashes of color from the bushes and trees in the background. Most of the front scenery here is very modern, but his little corner is a bit of a different feel, but very beautifully landscaped. I wish this were in my yard at home.

Tomorrow I leave for Los Angeles in a few days, which I am so very stoked about, since I've never been that far West before. I plan to take lots of photos, which you may see pop up on my Facebook and/or Instagram feed, and maybe even on Twitter. Can't wait to explore!

This old convenience store (it is no longer open) is right outside of town and being there just makes you feel like you have been taken back in time.

I love the Chapel of Memories at Mississippi State. It is such a peaceful and beautiful place. I also love taking photos there when the sun is beaming through the many stained glass windows.
