In my quest to capture the entire state I took an impromptu trip to Louisville on Saturday since it's within an hour drive from where I live. I took some time walking around the downtown area and I took lots of photos. Afterwards I headed out to Lake Tiak-O'Khata to get some shots and I will post some of those at some point. As I was walking around downtown I saw this old theater, so I stopped for a good 15 minutes just shooting different angles of it. The sun was fairly low in the sky right behind it so I tried to capture some shots with the sun visible in the background. This is one of those shots and I thought it turned out nice. I don't know anything about this theater or whether or not it's even still in use, maybe someone can fill me in on that by commenting below. I do assume by the marquee that it was used in December of last year?
Anyways, I had a great time shooting parts of Louisville and I look forward to more trips around the state. I love seeing new places! Let me know if I missed something in Louisville that I can get to next time I'm in the area.
