Tractor Under the Stars - West Point

Off of Hwy. 50 in Clay County

I went out last night hoping to capture a milky way shot even in the midst of light pollution, which is prevalant in Mississippi (and around the country for that matter). I was not successful but I love the result of this photo, which was a shot where I was not even trying to capture the milky way. Shooting at night is tricky and you sometimes don't know what you've got until you get in LightRoom and start editing. I am still really happy with this image, but want to continue to get better at night photography.

This is Dot's BBQ in West Point. This restaraunt is literally one block from my house and I have walked there on a couple of occassions to eat some delicious food.
