Shiny Ford

I took this shot in 2015 at the Market Street Festival as we walked by the car show and saw many beautiful cars. I loved the color of this Ford and the sun really brought out the reflections in the chrome, which HDR can really bring out.

So I went out on a limb this time and tried to figure out what type of plane this is and from what I found, I do believe this is a C-130 Hercules, a plane which has many different functions.

I thought this was a beautiful mausoleum at the Natchez Cemetery. One of many, but this one really stood out because of its size and because of the wrought iron gate around it as well. I encourage anyone to go visit the historic cemetery full of so many interesting stories.

This train came in as I was photographing the Hattiesburg Train Station, and why would you not photograph a train at a train station? This was not long after sunrise so the lighting was great and very orange.

Gas Stop

I love the dramatic look of this photo early in the morning surrounding by a dark glow as the sun was still below the horizon and the flourescent lights creating a sort of spotlight on the gas pumps.

This carraige sits inside one of the out buildings at the Longwood plantation in Natchez. This little building was fool of old tools and odds and ends that correlate with the history of the plantation. I thought it was fitting to edit it as a monochrome image with some slight tinting.

Little Angel

I really enjoyed my visit to the Natchez Cemetery (as much as you can enjoy a cemetery). The history and some of the intriguing stories behind some of the graves really fascinated me so my wife and I searched for the graves that we read about ahead of time.
